Tamzin and quotes 2003-08-24 @ 2:55 a.m.

Tamzin has decided that she wants to be "civil". She also decided that she wants to be "civil" with Sibz. So guess what? We had half an hour of "civil" conversation.

Let me just go through a brief list of possible ulterior motives: She wants to be civil with me and Sibz so that Lizzie will like her once again, she's being civil in an attempt to set us up somehow, she's being civil in an attempt to patch her relationship with Kalim, she's being civil in an attempt to regain credibility with other people, she's being civil so she has access to certain information, she's being civil so that we'll once again bcome Tamzin followers, she's being civil just because she knows it will set our nerves on edge. You never can tell with bitches.

Anyway, I think both Sibz and I have the "Oh my God, I'm starting to like her again" feeling of dread. I think our best plan here is to, in the words of brand new, keep the blood in our head and keep our feet on the ground. And to keep remembering how she hurt us. Each of us. All of us.

We need to remember how she laughed even when we were all worried that Sam might kill himself because of her. How when we were searching for him she went back to her house to watch the television. The way she was talking to Sibz when she hit her, the way she was talking to all of us. What happened with the group last year (Although I guess that's just my personal issues) and how she hasn't really changed since then. How she's using Danny (not that he doesn't deserve it) and how she's "teaching" Jordan. And if we can't remember that, how about remembering the way she told us that our lives were worthless, and that she has much more value than any of us, how about remembering how she fucking told me that she dared me to kill myself last year, how she used to bully Stephanie, and how she got angry with Kalim for socialising with us. How she treats her current friends. And we should ask ourselves, do we want to be among these wounded? Do we want to be in her tyranical grasp AGAIN?

At the same time however, we should remember how she's helped us at various times, how she's tried to change, how part of why we don't want to remember those times or to talk to her now is merely that it's easier to simply hate her. We should remember that she is only a person.
