Fucking Fascist government. Labour my ass. This is a Tory government and there's no denying it. The labour party was founded on the principles of socialism. The representation of those who did not have a voice - the working class. It was one of the few socialist parties from all countries who stuck to their principles during the first world war and strongly OPPOSED it. It was the party that suported internationalism. It was the party of the workers. The party of trade unions. The party of human fucking rights.

But no, not under Blair and "New Labour". The workers don't have a party anymore. We live in a two party system and both parties are exactly the same. We have the tories and then we have the tories plan B. Have a look at this anagram:

Funny how things like that work out eh? Fuck though, fuck it. How dare they? I have never been so angry. I'm not voting labour when I turn 18 and that's that. I don't know who I'll vote for. I'm sure as hell not voting for the Lib Dems, but I ain't voting for labour and that's that. I could not BRING myself to vote for Labour anymore.

How dare they? Bring in bills this is, to take asylum seekers' children away from them if they refuse to leave the country. How dare they? I just heard it on the news and I don't think I will get over that. Funny. One bill and that's just the final straw. That's the one thing that would stop me from voting for labour. I wonder how many other people have made the same decision about one thing that they've done in the past.

My politics teacher, Sheila, said that she would always vote for the labour party because it was still the party of the workers, and as long as it exists, it can still be reformed. My step dad and my mum both agree. But no. No. No. No. I'm a new generation. I'm a new generation and I don't care what principles that labour party was founded on, they don't stick to them any more. They took away clause 4. They're hostile to trade unions. They're pro America. Pro Nato. They believe in the privatisation of public services. The leader of the fucking party doesn't send his children to the local school. He sends them miles away to the best school in London.

Blair is just the bastard son of Thatcher. That's all he is. He has no principles. He has no morals. He shouldn't be the leader. He should be the fucking leader of the Conservative leader. They need a fucking decent leader, why doesn't he go join them. He wouldn't have to do any major reversal of his principles.

I heard Blair at the labour conference, actually use the word "Socialist" it made me laugh. It made me angry too. He doesn't know what socialist means.

Inequality is growing. I had to read an article on it for Sociology of all things, and I checked out all the facts, and it's right. We're reaching, as the article put it, "American levels of inequality" We're a fucked up country.

I'm ashamed to be British.

I'm ashamed to be a part of this stupid apathetic generation.
